Laneshaw Bridge is a beautiful rural parish in the Borough of Pendle, Lancashire, situated to the east of Colne and close to Trawden and Foulridge. With its rolling countryside, farms, country homes and historic village, Laneshaw Bridge has a distinctive rural character and a strong sense of community. The parish is home to around 924 residents, according to the 2021 Census, spread across a wide and varied area.

Our village and surrounding countryside offer plenty to enjoy, from popular walking routes and open spaces to welcoming village pubs and our much-loved recreation ground. We are also fortunate to have an excellent local primary school, which plays an important part in village life.

Laneshaw Bridge is also proud of its location as one of Lancashire’s eastern gateways. Situated close to the North Yorkshire border, the parish provides a wonderful introduction to the county and the spectacular countryside of Pendle and the surrounding area.

The Parish Council is made up of seven volunteer Councillors, supported by our Parish Clerk. Together, we work to represent the interests of local residents, support our community and help maintain and improve the parish for everyone.
