Bus Shelter Design Competition

Are you a budding artist or have an artistic flare then you might be the person that Laneshaw Bridge Parish Council is looking for.

The Parish Council is responsible for the maintenance and upkeep of 4 bus shelters within the village. In an effort to brighten up these shelters, the Parish Council is inviting budding artists or anyone with a creative flare to submit designs that could be added to the shelters to brighten them up for users and passers-by alike.

The theme of the design should be nature or the environment. The designs need to be able to be created into vinyl stickers/transfers. The designs can either be large enough to cover a whole panel or smaller designs that can be placed on either the panels or glass in the shelters.

Bus Shelters Design Competition – Fill in form

If you would like to enter a design, all you need to do is complete the form below and upload a copy of your design/s.
Who knows you might see your work of art appear on one of the bus shelters next time you pass by!

Planter Sponsorships

We are building on the fantastic success in Britain in Bloom where a Silver Medal was achieved in 2024. We are looking to build on that outstanding success and with your help we can aspire to greater things and further improve the floral appearance of Laneshaw Bridge.

The planters are available for sponsorship and can incorporate the sponsors name, contact telephone number and/or web site, if appropriate. Individuals, name or any designation of your choice. As well as being available for sponsorship, the planters are also available as an immemorial as a lasting tribute to a loved one.

The first year cost of a planter is £170, this includes the purchase of the planter, planting twice a year (Summer and Winter), two lines of text on the planter. All planters will be displayed in prominent location within the village.

In subsequent years, the planter sponsorship will cost £70.
